Avril Lavigne made a pact to maintain her marriage

  Chad Kroeger revealed to People magazine that he and Avril Lavigne have a covenant to maintain a happy marriage.
  He said they decided that they can not drink when they are not together, even when they spend weeks apart due to their work commitments.
  "It is a way to protect our marriage ... we don´t drink when we're apart. Never, "he stated. 
  Avril confirmed the covenant she has with her husband since they married last July: "We want to protect what we have," she explained, adding that they avoid going clubbing.
